We pride ourselves on the great food we serve to all our residents. We strive to provide a nutritious and tasty breakfast, lunch and dinner to please even the fussiest of resident. Be it European or Asian preferences, our kitchen staff have experience across a wide array of international cuisine.
Our meals are taylored to the requirments of every resident, as we care enough to know everyone has different needs when comes to dietry requirments.
Morning and afternoon tea are served daily, and like all our meals, are made fresh in our onsite kitchen to ensure the quality is always at the highest level.
For our more adventurous residents we have regular outings to malls, supermarkets, cafes, plus general sightseeing excursion. These are provided free of charge, as is all travel to the optometrist, hospital, or any other health related service.
Additionally, should any Auckland resident need assistance in relocating to Wesley Home & Care Mt Eden, we will take care of all transportation requirements. If we assist in relocating you from outside Auckland there may be a service charge. Please enquire.
All Wesley Home & Care residents and their families can rest assured that care and assitance is available around the clock. Be it a medical, hygene, or any other concern, our experienced staff are no more than the push of button away.
Our staffing levels exceed the government regulated requirements at all times, while our caregivers are multi-skilled and trained to assist our residents with all their needs and requests.
We have an on-call GP fluent in English and Cantonese (conversational Mandarin), who specialises in providing medical care to aged-care facilities, plus also undertakes fortnightly visits to consult and check with all of our residents.
Our Registered Nurse Kelly has been working in geriatric care in NZ for over 10 years, and is loved and trusted by all those in her care.
To top it off, when you visit Wesley Home & Care to see if its suitable for your self, mum, dad, or grandma...you will be talking directly with the owners of the rest-home, as there are some tasks we do not want to delegate to anyone else.
The Main Lounge is the social centre of the Wesley Home & Care community. It is where residents and family can gather for a chat, or just sit and relax in the company of other residents. When family or friends come to visit they can sit together in this common space if they find the residents room too confining.
'The Patio' is a sunny indoor-outdoor area forming part of The Hub. As the name suggests this is an area that residents can use to get fresh air and sun, and provides ramped access to the Greenhouses and associated gardens.

‘Vintage Style’ is our in-house beauty salon. Open daily for appointment bookings, the salon offers a full range of hair, nail and beauty services to those who need a little pampering.
All 'Vintage Style' services are free to Wesley Home & Care Mt Eden residents, as well as all our Daycation guests. Bookings are essential to ensure we have enough specialised staff available to pamper you!

The Eden Lounge provides a peaceful space for residents to have some quiet time outside of their room. The Eden Lounge has soft ambient background music, comfortable sofas, and a great view over the inner city suburbs to the Sky Tower.

Wesley Home & Care Mt Eden encourages residents who love the outdoors to enjoy out secluded outdoor spaces. We have a large shaded deck and two enclosed garden areas.
Additionally we have a vege patch in which we grow herbs and veges, and welcome the assistance of residents who have a passion for gardening.

‘The Rose Garden’ is one of our secluded garden spaces hidden withing the walls of Wesley Home & Care Mt Eden. It has a lotus pond and many rose plants. During the warmer months this is a great place for residents to sit and enjoy the sights and fragrances mother nature has created. It is also still a work in progress, and we will upload images once it has been completed.
